Interior design of entire specialist setting for pre-school children with autism and special educational needs. We designed the space to create an inclusive and supportive environment that caters to the unique needs of children with autism.

It was important to use a soft and neutral colour palette to create a calming environment, as well as soft diffused lighting to reduce glare for light sensitivity.

Natural light was maximised wherever possible within the design scheme.

Textured materials and surfaces were incorporated into the scheme to provide sensory input. Designated quiet spaces allow children to retreat when they need a break from stimulation.

Nature-inspired murals gave individual therapy rooms a theme and created a calming environment.
